Anyone else seeing increased workload despite no official layoffs?

Been at Boeing for a few years now, and lately, things feel... weird. We haven't had any official layoff announcements, which is good, but my team's workload has gone through the roof. People are leaving for other opportunities, and instead of backfilling, they're just distributing the work among the remaining folks. It feels like they're trying to squeeze every last drop out of us before any potential cuts, or maybe it's just a precursor. Anyone else experiencing this? Is this a company-wide thing or just my department? Trying to gauge the pulse of the company without being able to talk to anyone officially.

Yeah, I'm seeing the same thing. It's definitely a strange time. Management keeps talking about 'streamlining' and 'efficiency,' but it translates to more work for fewer people. Morale is pretty low when you feel like you're constantly being asked to do more with less, and you're worried about what comes next. Hard to stay motivated when you feel like you're just treading water while others jump ship.

Totally understand where you're coming from. It's that constant feeling of uncertainty. The workload is definitely up, and it feels like there's no relief in sight. It's exhausting trying to keep up, and honestly, it makes you wonder about the long-term stability. People are starting to look elsewhere because the current situation isn't sustainable for a lot of us. Hope things improve, but it's tough right now.
