Just saw the WARN notice for the New Orleans facility on Old Gentilly Road. It looks like 178 positions are officially getting the axe come April 18th. It feels like the death by a thousand cuts continues while management keeps pushing that 'stabilization' narrative. I’ve got friends in that office who have been there for over a decade, and now they’re just another line item on a spreadsheet to help the quarterly numbers. Is anyone actually hearing anything substantial about the long-term plan for the smaller sites, or are we all just waiting for our own WARN notice to pop up in the system? It feels like nobody is safe, regardless of how essential they think their program is. Really sorry to everyone caught up in this batch.

It is honestly sickening to watch this unfold in real-time. My heart goes out to the 178 people getting cut in New Orleans. They talk about stabilization while stripping away the very people who actually build the products. It feels like they are just gutting the company to appease shareholders for one more quarter, without a single thought for the institutional knowledge that is walking out the door. The lack of transparency from leadership is deafening, and at this point, nobody actually believes the excuses anymore.

I have been tracking the WARN notices across different sites for months now, and this New Orleans news is just another grim milestone. It’s hard to stay optimistic when the long-term strategy seems to consist entirely of trimming the workforce to make the balance sheet look slightly less disastrous. I feel for those employees—a decade of dedication shouldn't end with a generic layoff notice in April. If there is a real plan to turn this ship around, they certainly aren't sharing it with the people who actually need to know.
