Yeah, I'm in a different group (Infrastructure), but I've noticed a similar vibe. More hushed conversations, less transparency. It's probably nothing, but Broadcom has a history. Remember Avago? They don't shy away from restructuring. Keep your head down, document everything you're working on, and update your resume. Just in case.
Honestly, you might be overthinking it. End of quarter is always a bit hectic, and managers are constantly dealing with stuff we don't see. Seven years is a good run – you've probably just become more attuned to the subtle shifts in the workplace. Maybe take a vacation? Some time off can work wonders for perspective. If things still feel off when you get back, then maybe start worrying.
