Been at Broadcom for a few years now, and lately, the vibe has been... off. You see the news about VMware, and then there are these offhand comments from managers about 'optimizing resources' and 'streamlining.' Nothing concrete, no official announcements, but it's definitely creating an undercurrent of anxiety. Is anyone else in a similar boat? Hearing anything from their teams or leadership that might shed some light? I've been trying to keep my head down and focus on my work, but it's hard when you feel like the rug could be pulled out from under you at any moment. Just looking for some honest chatter from others in the trenches. What's the general sentiment across different departments?

I'm definitely feeling that too. It's the uncertainty that's the worst. You hear things, see the larger company moves, and then the internal messaging is just vague enough to make everyone speculate. It's hard to focus on deliverables when you're constantly wondering about job security or major organizational shifts. Hoping for some clarity soon, but frankly, I'm not holding my breath.
