The Burlington office is a shell of what it used to be. It is honestly demoralizing to walk through a near-empty floor after seeing so many talented colleagues walked out the door. The forced RTO mandate feels particularly sadistic when you are sitting in a cube farm surrounded by nothing but empty chairs and cold fluorescent lights. Leadership has completely checked out, hiding behind corporate buzzwords while the actual culture burns to the ground. It is time to polish the resume because this ship is clearly taking on water.
At this point, the standard playbook is so predictable it is almost laughable. They cut the talent, keep the middle management, and then act surprised when productivity craters. Expecting people to show up to a 'ghost town' for the sake of optics is peak corporate dysfunction. If you are still there, stop waiting for things to get better or for an apology that is never coming. Look for the exits now, because the current environment is only going to become more toxic as the next round of cuts approaches.
