Feeling the pressure - Broadcom's direction post-VMware acquisition

Just wanted to vent a bit. Been at Broadcom for a while, and honestly, the acquisition of VMware has created a weird vibe. Every other day there's a new article or a post somewhere about potential layoffs, especially impacting former VMware folks, but also hinting at broader restructuring. While I haven't personally seen or heard of any direct layoffs *within* my current Broadcom team, the overall atmosphere feels a bit tense. Management keeps talking about synergy and integration, which is corporate speak for "we're figuring out who we can cut." It’s the uncertainty that's the worst part. Are we safe? Is my role going to be redundant in six months? It's hard to plan or feel secure when you're constantly scanning the horizon for storm clouds. Anyone else feeling this unease? How are you coping with the ambiguity surrounding the integration and potential workforce changes?
