Feeling uneasy about upcoming performance reviews + market

Performance reviews are coming up soon and honestly, the general market sentiment and news about other tech companies (even our own recent acquisition of VMware) has me on edge. While there haven't been official Broadcom-wide layoffs announced, there's this constant hum of 'what if'. Does anyone else feel like the pressure is mounting? Especially with the recent reports of cuts at VMware, it's hard not to draw parallels. Is anyone anticipating performance not being enough to shield them? Or is it business as usual? Trying to stay positive but the underlying anxiety is real. Just looking to see if others are feeling this pre-review tension.

I get what you're saying. It's definitely a tense atmosphere right now. The VMware situation is hard to ignore, and even though Broadcom hasn't announced anything major for the main company, the acquisition definitely adds a layer of uncertainty. It's natural to worry, especially when you hear about other companies making cuts. Trying to stay focused on my own work, but it's tough not to let the broader market news get to you.
