Just saw the news about Cisco laying off another 400 employees, and it seems like it's primarily impacting California. This is getting ridiculous. It feels like every other week there's a new round of cuts announced, and the company keeps reporting strong financials. It's hard to feel secure in your job when you see this happening. I'm in California, and while my specific team hasn't been touched yet, you can just feel the anxiety in the air. People are networking more, updating their LinkedIn profiles, and generally keeping their ears to the ground. I'm trying to stay positive and focus on my work, but it's tough when the axe seems to be swinging so frequently. Anyone else in CA feeling this vibe?
