Citizens Bank - Anyone else feel like project pipelines are drying up?

Been in my role for a few years now, and typically we'd have a decent flow of new initiatives and projects kicking off by Q3/Q4. Lately, though, it feels like everything is getting pushed back or scaled down significantly. My team's been tasked with 'refining existing processes' instead of building anything new. Senior leadership keeps talking about 'disciplined growth' and 'prioritizing core business,' which I get, but it also feels like the faucet has been turned way down. Is this just a cyclical thing or is anyone else seeing a more sustained slowdown in the actual work being greenlit?
