Just saw the news about the 175 layoffs at Coca-Cola Northampton. This really stings. Feels like a punch to the gut, especially with the timing. Is this an isolated incident for that specific site/division, or is it a sign of bigger things to come for the rest of us in the beverage sector at Coke? I'm in a different department but the uncertainty is definitely creeping in. Hard to stay motivated and focused when you hear about this kind of thing. Makes you question your own position and the company's direction. Anyone else in other Coca-Cola locations or related roles feeling this unease?
