Anyone else noticing weird project pauses at Comcast?

Hey everyone, long-time lurker here. Haven't seen any official layoff news for Comcast, but I've been getting a really strange vibe lately. A couple of projects I'm involved with have suddenly been put on indefinite hold, with no clear explanation beyond 'budget review.' My manager is being super cagey about it, just saying 'things are TBD.' I've also heard through the grapevine that some internal transfers are being denied, which is usually pretty common here. Plus, I noticed a lot of the usual recruiting emails have dried up. Is anyone else experiencing this? Feels like something's brewing under the surface, even if it's not outright layoffs yet. Trying to figure out if it's just my department or a wider thing. Feels a bit unsettling, not knowing what's going on.

Yeah, I've been feeling that too. It's not just project holds, it feels like a general slowdown across the board. Hiring freezes seem to be in effect, and even internal moves are getting stalled. It's definitely a bit unnerving when the official word is just 'budget review' and no one is giving straight answers. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes.

I'm hearing similar things from folks in different departments. The 'budget review' excuse is getting old, especially when it's tied to projects that were already greenlit and funded. It's creating a lot of uncertainty and frustration. People are naturally going to start speculating when communication is this opaque. Hope we get some clarity soon.
