Is anyone else seeing a hiring freeze at Comcast?

Been keeping an eye on open positions across a few different departments at Comcast for the last couple of months, and it feels like the faucet has really turned off. Used to see new roles popping up pretty regularly, but now it's just the same few postings lingering. I know there haven't been any big, public layoff announcements like some other tech companies have had, but this lack of new hiring feels... significant. Has anyone else in recruiting or management roles noticed this? Or is this just a normal Q3/Q4 slowdown? Just trying to gauge the general temperature. My team's been told 'no new headcount' for the foreseeable future, which is also a bit concerning.

I've been seeing a similar trend over here. The usual flow of new opportunities in my division has definitely slowed to a trickle. It's making me wonder if internal transfers are being prioritized, or if they're just being very selective with new hires right now. It's definitely a change from the past few years. Hoping it's just a temporary lull and not a sign of something bigger.

Yeah, I'm noticing it too, though from a different angle. My team's been trying to backfill a couple of critical roles for months with no success. It feels like the budget for new headcount is really tight, or maybe the approval process has gotten way more complicated. Makes you think about stability, doesn't it?
