Anyone else notice the silence on upcoming projects?

Hey everyone, Been with ConEd for a few years now, and lately, things just feel... stagnant. Normally around this time of year, we'd be hearing whispers about new initiatives, project kick-offs, maybe even some internal reshuffling. But it's radio silence. Everyone's heads are down, just grinding through the day-to-day. You can feel a certain tension, like people are waiting for something, but nobody's sure what. Is it just my department, or is anyone else feeling this collective pause? Makes you wonder what's brewing behind the scenes, doesn't it? Trying not to jump to conclusions, but the lack of visibility is definitely unnerving. Just looking to see if others are picking up on the same vibe. Let me know what you're seeing (or not seeing!).

I've noticed it too. It feels like the company's holding its breath. There's been a definite lack of communication about what's on the horizon. Usually, there's at least some chatter about where we're heading, but lately, it's been crickets. Makes it hard to plan or feel engaged when you don't know what the future holds. Hopefully, it's just a temporary lull before something big.

Yeah, it's definitely quiet. My team's been remarking on it as well. We're all just kind of heads down, focusing on our current tasks because there's no new direction being communicated. It's a bit unsettling, to be honest. You wonder if there are big changes coming, or if the strategy just hasn't been defined yet. Either way, the silence is loud.
