Hey everyone, been at Con Ed for a few years now, and it feels like things are getting weird. I've noticed a lot of internal job postings that seem to be going nowhere, and positions that used to open up quickly are now on hold. My team lead mentioned something about a hiring pause, but it wasn't super clear if it's company-wide or department-specific. It's making it tough for people looking to move around or even for managers trying to fill critical roles. Anyone else hearing similar things or experiencing this? Feels like there's a lot of quiet shuffling happening behind the scenes, and it's making me a bit uneasy about future opportunities.
