Any info on severance packages after the Oct 2nd round?

Just trying to get a pulse on what the exit packages look like for those of us caught up in this latest round. I saw the WARN notice hit for New York yesterday and the anxiety in the office is palpable. For those who were let go or are hearing from teammates who were, are they offering anything decent, or is it just the bare minimum? I’ve been here for over six years and frankly, the lack of transparency from leadership is making it hard to process everything. I’m starting to scrub my resume tonight, but I want to know if I should be mentally preparing for a total void of support or if there's at least a decent buffer while I look for a new role. Any info on COBRA or career coaching help would be appreciated. Stay strong everyone.

It is honestly brutal right now. From what I’ve heard from folks in my department, the packages are pretty standard—typically a few weeks of pay per year of service, plus COBRA coverage for a short window. Don't expect anything generous; it feels like they are doing the absolute bare minimum to avoid legal headaches. Definitely look into your specific contract and don't sign anything immediately. Take the document to an employment lawyer if you can, especially with six years under your belt. Leadership has been completely silent, so prioritize yourself and get everything in writing.
