Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of whispers and just a general sense of unease around the office lately. Not hearing anything concrete, no official announcements or anything, but the vibe feels... off. Project timelines seem a bit tighter, there's less transparency from management than usual, and frankly, people are looking over their shoulders more often than not. Performance reviews just wrapped up, and while mine was fine, I've heard from others that it wasn't as straightforward as years past. Lots of talk about 'strategic realignments' and 'efficiency drives', which usually means something is brewing. Anyone else picking up on this? Are you seeing similar things in your departments? I've been with Corning for a while now, and I have to say, this recent atmosphere does feel a bit different. It's subtle, sure, but that undercurrent of uncertainty is palpable. I'm trying to stay focused on my work and deliver, but the lack of clear communication from leadership definitely adds a layer of stress. Interesting post. I haven't picked up on anything quite so dramatic myself, but I do agree that communication hasn't been as robust lately. Perhaps it's just the usual end-of-year wrap-up and planning phase, which can sometimes create a bit of a lull or perceived tension.
