October 2nd WARN notice - It’s happening

Just saw the official WARN filing for the Oct 2nd layoffs in NY. Been trying to keep my head down and just do my work, but the atmosphere in the office is absolutely toxic right now. It feels like nobody is actually focused on R&D or production anymore—everyone is just whispering in the breakrooms or staring at their calendars, waiting for that dreaded 'catch up' meeting invite from HR. I’ve been here for over six years, and I’ve never seen morale this low. The transparency is non-existent. Leadership keeps talking about 'optimizing our footprint' and 'strategic realignment,' but we all know what that really means. I have friends in other departments who have already been tapped, and it’s always the same story: your access gets cut, you have ten minutes to pack your desk, and you're escorted out by security like a criminal. It's dehumanizing after years of putting in late nights and weekends. For those still left in the trenches, are you guys actually planning on staying or are you just updating your LinkedIn and waiting for the inevitable? I’m starting to think the best move is to jump before the next wave hits, because this definitely doesn't feel like the end of it.
