Is it just me, or has the general vibe at Cummins soured?

Just wanted to see if I'm alone in this feeling. The atmosphere here feels… different lately. There's a noticeable dip in energy and enthusiasm across the board, at least from my perspective. People seem more stressed, less collaborative, and there’s a general undercurrent of uncertainty. Conversations in the breakroom used to be more upbeat, but now it’s often about workload, tight deadlines, and concerns about the future. Management is saying all the right things, but actions don't always seem to align. I'm trying to stay positive and focused on my work, but it's hard when the overall morale seems to be taking a hit. Is anyone else picking up on this? Any theories on why things might be feeling this way? Curious to hear your thoughts and experiences.

I've noticed it too. It feels like the pressure has really ramped up in the last year or so. There's a lot more focus on hitting targets, and it seems like that's coming at the expense of team morale. It's a shame, because it used to be a pretty good place to work. Hopefully, things shift back to a more positive direction soon.

I'm not entirely sure it's a widespread 'souring,' but there are definitely pockets where the stress is palpable. Project timelines can be brutal, and when you're constantly under the gun, it's hard to maintain that high energy. I think a lot of it comes down to communication and whether people feel heard and supported. It's a complex environment.
