Hey everyone, has anyone else noticed a shift in the general atmosphere around Cummins recently? It feels like people are a bit more on edge, maybe quieter in meetings, and there's a general sense of uncertainty hanging in the air. I've been here a few years and it feels different than usual. Projects seem to be getting a bit more scrutinized, and there's definitely a focus on efficiency and cost-saving. It's not just one department either, I'm hearing similar things from different parts of the company. Curious if others are picking up on this too, or if I'm just overthinking things. Trying to stay positive but it's hard when the vibe feels a little off. Wondering if this is a precursor to anything, or just the typical ebb and flow of a large corporation.

Yeah, I've definitely felt that. It's like there's a low hum of anxiety that wasn't there before. More people seem hesitant to volunteer for new things, and the 'why' behind some decisions isn't always clear, which adds to the unease. Hoping it's just a temporary phase and things will pick up soon.

I hear you. The pressure to perform and cut costs is palpable. It's making it tough to get creative or take calculated risks. Seems like everyone is just trying to keep their heads down and meet expectations, which isn't exactly inspiring. Curious to see if leadership addresses this openly.
