Sales & Commercial team - what's the outlook?

Been in sales for a while now and the last couple of quarters have been a real grind. Numbers are tough, and the competitive landscape isn't getting any easier. I'm hearing whispers about restructuring in some of the regional offices, and while nothing concrete has been announced, the silence is deafening. Anyone on the commercial side seeing deals dry up, or facing increased pressure without the usual support? Wondering if the focus is shifting internally and if that impacts our ability to close business. Any insights from folks dealing directly with customers or in sales leadership would be greatly appreciated. Trying to gauge if this is a temporary market dip or something more structural happening at Cummins.

Things have definitely felt stagnant on the commercial front lately. It's more than just a tough quarter; it feels like a systemic shift. We're seeing longer sales cycles and a lot more pushback on pricing, even from our most loyal clients. The chatter about internal changes isn't helping morale, as it creates uncertainty about resource allocation and even job security. It’s hard to maintain momentum when you’re not sure if the support structures will be there to back up the sales efforts down the line. Hopefully, leadership will offer some clarity soon.
