Anyone else feeling super anxious lately?

I've been at Datadog for almost 3 years now, in a backend engineering role on the cloud integrations team. Things have been...weird. There's this underlying tension in every meeting, and my manager seems stressed all the time. I know the economy is shaky, and other companies are doing layoffs. I haven't heard anything concrete, but I can't shake this feeling that something's coming. Anyone else picking up on this? Am I just paranoid? Maybe I'm spending too much time on Blind...

I'm on a different team, but yeah, I've felt a similar vibe. The all-hands meetings used to be so rah-rah, but lately it's all about 'efficiency' and 'doing more with less.' I think everyone's bracing for something, even if management isn't saying it directly. Honestly, dust off your resume and start discreetly looking. It's better to be prepared than caught off guard, regardless of whether it happens.

Honestly, you might be overthinking it. Every company has its ups and downs, especially in this market. Three years is a decent tenure – maybe you're just getting a little burnt out and projecting your own feelings onto the situation? Try taking some time off, disconnect from work, and see if your perspective changes. Don't let Blind get into your head, that place is a breeding ground for anxiety.
