Datadog - Anyone Else Feeling the Burnout Creep In?

Okay, real talk here. Lately, it feels like the workload at Datadog has been steadily increasing, but without a corresponding increase in resources or, frankly, recognition. We're expected to do more with less, and the deadlines are getting tighter. Is this just me, or are others feeling this creeping burnout? It's not just about crunch time; it's a sustained feeling of being stretched thin. I've seen a few colleagues looking pretty stressed, and the general chatter in some channels feels a bit more anxious than usual. No concrete layoff rumors, but this level of intensity feels unsustainable long-term. Anyone else in a similar boat? How are you managing it, or are you starting to look elsewhere? Just need to know I'm not alone in this.

I'm right there with you. It's definitely not just you. The pace has picked up significantly, and it feels like we're constantly juggling more priorities than we have bandwidth for. I've noticed the same stress levels creeping up, and the feeling of being perpetually behind is exhausting. It's tough to maintain enthusiasm when you're consistently running on fumes. Hope things ease up soon.

Totally feel this. The 'more with less' mantra seems to be in full effect. It's gotten to the point where even proactive work feels like a luxury we can't afford. The pressure is mounting, and it's hard to see a clear path to sustainability at this rate. Glad to know I'm not the only one feeling the strain, but sad that this seems to be the reality for many of us.
