Hey, I get the anxiety. Five years is a solid chunk of time. Companies in the observability space can be pretty competitive, so they often offer decent packages to retain talent and avoid negative buzz. I've seen anything from 2 weeks per year up to 4, plus some months of health insurance subsidy. Outplacement is less common but a nice bonus if you get it. Hang in there, and hopefully, this is just pre-emptive thinking on your part.
Honestly, unless there's some major news I've missed, this feels like a lot of speculation. Datadog is still growing like crazy, and their churn isn't typically high, especially for tenured SREs. I'd focus on your performance and networking internally for now. Worrying too much about hypotheticals can be a drain. If something *does* happen, HR will have a standard package, but it's unlikely to be drastically different from industry norms. Don't let the rumor mill get to you.
