Is anyone else feeling the pressure at DDOG?

Hey everyone, been at Datadog for a couple of years now, and lately, things just feel... different. There's been a lot of talk about 'efficiency' and 'prioritization' in recent all-hands, which is fine, but it feels like there's an underlying tension. My team's roadmap has been shifting more than usual, and some projects I thought were solid are suddenly 'under review'. It's not outright panic, but there's a definite unease. Performance reviews just wrapped up, and while I personally did okay, I've heard whispers of some unexpected ratings. Curious if anyone else is picking up on this vibe, or if I'm just overthinking things. Is this just a general tech slowdown affecting us, or is there something more specific happening internally? Anyone else in a similar boat?

Yeah, I've noticed the shift too. It feels like the goalposts are moving more frequently than usual, and it's tough to maintain momentum when priorities keep changing. Trying to stay focused on what's achievable right now, but the uncertainty is definitely there.

Totally get what you're saying. The 'efficiency' talk is constant, and while I understand the need to be smart with resources, it's creating a bit of a stressful atmosphere. Roadmap changes and project reviews happening so often make it hard to plan long-term and feel secure in the work.
