I feel you. The 'urgent' culture is pervasive in many tech companies, especially when dealing with monitoring and incident response. Datadog's visibility can be a double-edged sword – it highlights problems, but also puts the onus on you to fix them ASAP. Try documenting the time each 'urgent' request actually takes and the impact if it's delayed. Present that data to your manager. Might help reset expectations, or at least get you some breathing room to negotiate deadlines.
Cloud computing *can* be intense, but your experience sounds extreme. A year in, you shouldn't feel like you're constantly failing. Is this company generally known for high turnover? Glassdoor can be your friend. Also, 'good pay' isn't worth your sanity. Explore your options. It's easier to find a job *while* employed, and a less stressful environment might be worth a slight pay cut. Your mental health matters more than a few extra bucks.
