Worried about severance... what to expect after 3 years?

Look, I'm not trying to spread FUD, but with everything going on in tech, I'm trying to be prepared. Been at Datadog for 3 years, doing frontend. Anyone have insight into what a typical severance package looks like around here? Is it based on tenure, performance, or just luck of the draw? Trying to figure out my runway if the worst happens. Thanks in advance.

Heard it's generally 2 weeks per year of service, *plus* accrued vacation time paid out. That's the standard I've seen floated around. But tbh, the actual package probably depends on your level and how they structure the layoff. Start updating your resume *now* – better to be proactive than reactive. Hit up your network, too.
