Dell interview process taking forever, what's the deal?

Applied for a senior engineer role about 3 weeks ago. Had the initial recruiter screen, then two technical interviews, and then an interview with the hiring manager. Everything went well, or so I thought. Haven't heard anything in over a week, and my portal status hasn't updated. I reached out to the recruiter twice and got radio silence. This is starting to feel like the usual tech industry slowdown where they string people along. Anyone else experiencing this with Dell lately? Is it just a slow hiring cycle, or is there something else going on that people aren't talking about? Really hoping this isn't another case of 'ghosting' after getting your hopes up. The silence is deafening.

Yeah, I feel your pain. Hiring processes at big tech companies can be notoriously slow, and Dell is no exception. Three weeks isn't *that* long in the grand scheme of things for a senior role, but the radio silence from the recruiter is definitely frustrating. Sometimes they're just juggling a lot of candidates and internal processes. Don't give up hope just yet, but it might be worth setting a mental deadline for yourself to move on if you don't hear back soon. Keep applying elsewhere too, just in case!
