Dell recruitment seems to be slowing down significantly

Applied for a position a couple of months ago and the process has been radio silent. Usually, I get some kind of update, even if it's a rejection, within a reasonable timeframe. This one just feels stuck in limbo. Emailed the recruiter twice with no response. It's making me wonder if they've put hiring on hold or if internal candidates are being prioritized. Has anyone else experienced this with Dell recently? Maybe it's just this specific role, but the lack of communication is definitely a bit concerning. Makes me hesitant to continue applying to other roles there right now, even though I'm really interested in the company. Curious if others are seeing a slowdown in new hires or if the interview pipeline has dried up.

Yeah, I've noticed a similar slowdown myself. Applied for a couple of roles over the last quarter and it's been crickets. It's frustrating when you're eager to move on with your career and the silence from recruiters is deafening. Makes you question the whole process and whether it's worth the continued effort. Hopefully, it's just a temporary lull and things will pick up soon.

That's a bummer about your application status. I've seen a few posts here and there about hiring freezes or slowdowns at some of the bigger tech companies, so it wouldn't surprise me if Dell is experiencing something similar. Sometimes these things are cyclical, or perhaps they're restructuring certain departments. Good luck with your job search, hopefully, you hear back soon or find something else promising!
