Dell's quiet period - good or bad sign?

Been seeing a lot of chatter about layoffs across the tech industry, and Dell seems to be conspicuously absent from the headlines. On one hand, maybe this means we're stable? Like, management handled things well, or our particular business units are doing okay. But on the other hand, sometimes silence just means the storm hasn't hit here yet. Are others at Dell feeling the same way? Is it just a matter of time, or are we genuinely in a better spot than, say, Google or Meta? I'm trying to stay optimistic but also realistic. Wondering if anyone has heard any internal whispers or has any insight into why Dell seems to be avoiding the mass cuts everyone else is doing. Is it strategic, or just a different kind of pain coming down the road?

I'm choosing to see it as a positive sign, at least for now. Maybe Dell's diversified business model or its focus on enterprise solutions provides more resilience than consumer-facing giants. It's easy to panic when other companies are making headlines, but perhaps our situation is genuinely different. Let's focus on our work and continue to deliver value; that's the best defense we have.
