Hoping to jump ship - what's the interview process like now?

Been with Dell for about 7 years, mostly in infrastructure engineering. Lately, I've been polishing up my resume and sending out feelers. It feels like the right time to move on before things potentially get worse. For those who have interviewed with Dell recently, or even interviewed *out* of Dell recently, what's the general vibe? Are they still hiring aggressively for certain roles, or is it a ghost town? Any tips on navigating the interview process, especially with the current market uncertainty? I'm trying to gauge how competitive it is and what I should be focusing on. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Want to be prepared.

I actually interviewed with Dell a few months ago for a cloud architect role. The process was pretty standard, honestly. A recruiter screen, then a couple of technical rounds with different managers/engineers, and a final HR chat. Didn't get an offer, but it wasn't a nightmare. Heard they're still hiring for some specialized tech roles, but it's definitely not the free-for-all it might have been a couple of years ago. Focus on clearly articulating your impact and how your skills align with the specific job description. Good luck with the job hunt!

Been hearing mixed things about Dell lately. Some folks in my network say it's tough to get in, others mention they're still actively recruiting for certain senior positions, especially in areas like cybersecurity and data science. The interview process itself can be quite thorough, so be prepared for multiple rounds, including behavioral and technical assessments. Make sure your resume highlights quantifiable achievements and problem-solving skills. Don't be afraid to ask direct questions during the interviews about team structure and project pipelines – it shows engagement.
