Another round of cuts at Deloitte Consulting, supposedly happened around July 9th. I'm really frustrated by the lack of transparency from leadership. We're hearing rumors and seeing news snippets, but an official, clear statement on the numbers and reasons? Radio silence. It creates so much uncertainty and anxiety for everyone. People are wondering if their role is secure, if performance reviews will suddenly turn south, or if the pipeline just dried up completely. Feels like we're expected to just absorb this without any real explanation. Makes it hard to stay engaged and motivated when you feel like you're just a cog in a machine that can be replaced without much notice. Is anyone else feeling this way?

It's incredibly difficult to navigate a situation like this without clear communication. The uncertainty breeds anxiety and makes it hard to focus on work. When leadership remains silent, it erodes trust and can make employees feel undervalued, even if they are performing well. Transparency, even during tough times, is crucial for maintaining morale and a sense of stability within the firm. Hopefully, they will address these concerns directly and provide some clarity soon.
