Hey everyone, saw the news about Deloitte Consulting having layoffs on July 9th. The article mentioned a number but didn't give specifics. Trying to get a sense of how widespread this was. Was anyone here impacted directly, or know people who were? What practice areas seem to be hit the hardest? I'm hearing mixed things, some saying it was targeted, others saying it was more general. Sorry to hear about the layoffs. It's tough when these things happen. While I haven't heard any direct news about July 9th specifically, the consulting world has been pretty volatile lately across the board. Many firms have been restructuring. I'd suggest keeping an eye on official communications if you're employed there, but also networking with people in other firms. It's a challenging market right now, but opportunities do still exist.
