What's going on at Devon? The energy in the office (and on Teams calls) feels pretty low lately. People are generally tight-lipped, but you can sense the unease. Heard some whispers about budget freezes in certain R&D areas and a general slowdown in hiring for non-critical roles. It’s not just me, right? My buddy in engineering mentioned they're being asked to justify every single piece of equipment purchase like it's going to the moon. Definitely not the same buzz it had last year. Wondering if others are experiencing this and if there's any official or unofficial word on what's driving this shift. Trying to stay positive but hard not to worry.
