Seeing the layoff numbers coming out of PA for Jan 1st. 76 people gone. It makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. We're always told the company is doing well, but then these cuts happen. Is it restructuring, cost-cutting, or something else? Feels like a lot of us are holding our breath. The lack of transparency is what gets to me. They talk about being a 'family' and then this. Anyone in a position to know more about the rationale behind these specific cuts? Trying to understand if my role is secure or if I should start polishing the resume. It's tough out there, and seeing this adds another layer of stress. Just want to know where things stand.

It's really tough when you see those numbers and hear about layoffs, especially when leadership talks about stability and success. The disconnect between the public message and the reality on the ground can be unsettling. Hopefully, there's a clear, albeit difficult, strategic reason for these cuts, and not just a knee-jerk reaction to market fluctuations. Transparency would certainly go a long way in easing anxieties for those remaining.
