Anyone else from ABC News impacted?

Reading about the layoffs and saw a mention of ABC News being hit. That hit close to home. My team wasn't directly affected this time, but I know people who were. It's brutal. FiveThirtyEight shutting down sounds like a massive loss. I guess the writing was on the wall with the "AI" stuff and the push for efficiency, but it still sucks to see colleagues go. The mood here is pretty somber. People are sharing stories and trying to support each other, but there's a lot of anxiety. It's hard to believe this is happening at a place like Disney. Anyone else from that division want to share what happened or how it's affecting things moving forward? Is leadership communicating anything beyond the PR speak?
