Just saw the news about the latest round hitting Pixar. Brutal. I've got friends there and it sounds like a lot of good people are out. It's really making me nervous about what's next. Are these cuts really over, or is this just the beginning? I work in one of the film divisions, and while I haven't heard anything specific about my team yet, the whispers are getting louder. Management keeps talking about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining,' which usually just means fewer people doing more work. It feels like a constant state of anxiety. Anyone else in film or animation feeling this? Any intel on whether other studios like Marvel or Disney Animation are seeing similar impacts? Trying to stay positive but it's tough right now.
