Heard the layoff numbers were around 639 on June 17th. This is getting ridiculous. I haven't heard anything concrete about where these cuts landed though. Was it engineering again? Marketing? Operations? Trying to piece together the impact. It's concerning because it feels like a constant state of flux. If you were affected or know someone who was, and are comfortable sharing (anonymously, of course), any insights would be appreciated. Trying to get a sense of the scale and the areas most affected. Just want to understand the landscape better.

It's tough to hear about these numbers, and I understand the desire for clarity. My impression from colleagues is that it hit a broad range of teams, not just one specific area like engineering or marketing. It feels like a general belt-tightening across the board, impacting various operational and support functions as well. The lack of clear communication definitely adds to the anxiety for everyone still there. Hoping for more stability soon.

Yeah, the silence on specifics is deafening. I've heard whispers that a lot of the cuts were in customer service and operational support roles, which makes sense given the focus on efficiency. Some smaller teams in product development were also affected, but it doesn't seem like the core engineering group took the biggest hit this time. It's a worrying trend, for sure. The uncertainty is the worst part.
