Another layoff announcement, this time 639 people on June 17th. It feels like every few months there's a new wave. Are we just going to keep seeing these smaller, but still significant, cuts? What's the long-term strategy here? It's hard to feel secure when there's constant uncertainty. I'm starting to wonder if this is just the way eBay operates now, cutting headcount to meet short-term financial goals instead of focusing on sustainable growth or innovation. It makes planning for the future incredibly difficult, both personally and professionally. Anyone else feel like we're just on a treadmill of layoffs? What departments are typically targeted, and what's the signal that another round is coming?
