Just got the news... Anyone else from the 'Marketplace Health' team?

Ugh, the email hit this morning. Looks like my time at eBay is up. Been here for almost 4 years, mostly on the Marketplace Health team, focusing on fraud prevention. Wasn't expecting it at all, things seemed pretty stable, or at least that's what we were told. Got the standard 60 days notice and some severance package details, but honestly, I'm still processing. Feels pretty surreal. Anyone else on the team get hit? Curious to know if it was a broad sweep or targeted. Trying to figure out next steps, but mostly just feeling numb right now.

Wow, that's really rough news. I'm not on your team, but I've heard whispers of restructuring lately. It's always a shock when it hits so close to home, especially after nearly four years. Yeah, the 'Marketplace Health' team was mentioned in a recent all-hands, but in a positive light. Strange that it's you guys now. I'm in a different department, so didn't get the email, but I have a friend who used to be on your team, and they left about 6 months ago. Maybe there's a connection? Hope you land on your feet quickly, but also keep an eye on what they're actually doing with the fraud prevention resources going forward.
