Michigan site impact - anybody have clarity on the Essexville reduction?

Is there anyone left at the Essexville office, or is the site effectively dead? Saw the WARN notice for the 90 people this month and it’s eerily quiet on the internal channels. I know we’ve been dealing with the ‘structural adjustments’ since the start of the year, but this feels like another slice of the pie being taken away without any real transparency from leadership. I’ve got friends who were part of the 1k wave earlier this year, and now this localized hit. Are they just trimming the fat from satellite locations to move everything to HQ or offshore? The constant ‘efficiency’ talk is getting really old. If you’re at that site or have any insights on whether this is the end of the road for the Michigan presence, please drop a note. I’m trying to gauge if I should polish up the resume sooner rather than later. The silence is the worst part—every time my calendar pings for a meeting with HR or a skip-level, my heart hits my throat.

It is essentially a ghost town now. Management has stopped addressing the Essexville situation entirely, which tells you everything you need to know about the site's future. They are clearly prioritizing the shift toward off-site operations and automation, leaving the remaining staff in total limbo. Don’t expect any transparency from leadership; they prefer to let the site quietly wither away rather than deal with the fallout. If you have friends still holding on, tell them to start updating their resumes immediately because this isn't just a temporary reduction.

Everyone is definitely feeling the anxiety right now, but honestly, this is just how it goes with eBay lately. It feels like they are methodically gutting these regional offices to streamline costs, and unfortunately, Essexville is just the latest victim of the 'structural adjustment' trend. The lack of communication is standard practice at this point to keep morale from completely bottoming out before the next quarter ends. It’s a tough environment to work in when you feel like a disposable number on a spreadsheet, but that’s the reality of their current corporate roadmap.
