The gaslighting is exactly what makes this so much worse. We’ve all seen the internal memos about 'aligning resources,' but empty desks don't lie. It’s infuriating how they hide behind corporate buzzwords while people’s livelihoods are being erased overnight. If they were actually committed to the Lexington site, they wouldn't be treating us like we're blind. Just watch—they’ll keep acting like everything is business as usual until the very last person is walked out the door. Don't believe a word they say in the town hall meetings.
I was in the Fayette office yesterday, and the atmosphere was absolutely toxic. It felt like walking through a graveyard. Management is clearly terrified of admitting the scale of what's happening, so they rely on those vague, robotic statements about 'strategic growth' to keep us quiet. It's insulting. They know we see exactly what's going on, yet they continue to play these games. My advice? Keep your resume updated and don't count on any of their reassurances. This isn't a restructuring; it's a slow-motion exit.
