Hey everyone, been with EOG for a few years now, and I've noticed things feeling a bit... tighter lately. Workload seems to be steadily increasing, and the pressure to hit targets feels higher than ever. Not hearing any concrete layoff rumors, but the vibe in my department is definitely one of 'doing more with less'. Anyone else picking up on this? Just trying to gauge if it's a company-wide thing or if I'm just in a particularly demanding division. Feels like we're constantly being asked to optimize and be more efficient, which is fine, but it's starting to feel like it's at the expense of actual work-life balance. Wondering if this is a precursor to anything bigger, or just the usual oil and gas cycle kicking into high gear. Curious to hear what others are seeing on the ground.

Yeah, I'm feeling it too. The metrics have been pretty intense, and it seems like every quarter brings new, more ambitious goals. It's not just my team; I've heard similar sentiments from folks in other departments. The efficiency drive is definitely palpable, but it's starting to feel like we're stretched pretty thin. Hoping it leads to more stability down the line, but right now, it's definitely a grind.

Interesting you bring this up. I've noticed the same atmosphere.
