EOG Resources - The silence is deafening...

Unbelievable. No official word, no leaks, nothing concrete, but the atmosphere feels heavy. Everyone's walking on eggshells. Performance reviews just wrapped up, and the feedback felt unusually critical across the board for a lot of folks I know. Couple that with the 'economic headwinds' and 'strategic realignments' jargon being thrown around in town halls, and it paints a pretty grim picture. I'm in engineering, and we've definitely seen a slowdown in new project approvals, which is unlike EOG. Feels like they're holding their cards very close to their chest. Is anyone else experiencing this weird mix of normal operations with an undercurrent of dread? Just want to know if I'm alone in this feeling or if others are seeing the same thing. This uncertainty is the worst part.

Yeah, I'm feeling it too. The quiet is definitely louder than any announcement. Saw some unusual shuffling in my department after reviews, and it's got people speculating. Normally EOG is pretty transparent, or at least you can feel the pulse of what's going on. This feels different, like they're holding cards very close to their chest. Hope it's just the usual market jitters, but the lack of clear communication is unsettling for sure. Trying to stay positive, but it's hard when the general vibe is so uncertain.
