Another round of WARN notices in CA: 160 more gone by June 30

Just saw the latest WARN notice filing for California. Another 160 heads on the chopping block effective June 30th. It looks like it’s hitting the regional offices—Long Beach, Santa Ana, Corona, San Diego, and Los Gatos all seem to be impacted this time around. It’s becoming impossible to keep track of these rolling cuts. Every few weeks there’s another 'restructuring' announcement, and then the WARN notices start trickling in. At this point, I’m convinced nobody at the top actually knows what the headcount will look like by Q4. Are these strictly software/EV roles, or are they thinning out the general corporate support teams in these hubs too? If you're in one of these CA offices, keep your head on a swivel. It feels like the company is just slicing away at the footprint piece by piece until there's nothing left but Dearborn. Hope everyone getting hit has a solid severance package waiting, though I'm not holding my breath given the trend.

It honestly feels like they are just throwing darts at a map of California at this point. The constant 'restructuring' buzzwords are getting tired, and the morale is in the absolute basement. Every few weeks, a new batch of notifications pops up, and it’s clear that leadership has no long-term vision. They’re just chopping away at the limbs to keep the stock price from sinking further, but it’s just hollowing out the actual operations. Hard to see how anyone stays focused when you’re constantly looking over your shoulder waiting for the next notice.
