Anyone else hearing whispers about a bigger purge at Ford?

Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of chatter online and hearing some not-so-great things through the grapevine here at Ford lately. We had those temporary layoffs for the F-150 production back in January, and then again with the EV F-150 folks. Plus, all those contract and salaried worker cuts last year. It feels like they keep doing these smaller cuts, but I'm worried there's something bigger brewing. They keep talking about restructuring and focusing on EVs, which is fine, but it feels like a lot of people are going to be caught in the crossfire. Anyone else in a similar boat or have any inside info? Just trying to brace myself and my family for whatever might be coming. It's hard to stay motivated when you're constantly looking over your shoulder. Feels like the ground is shifting constantly, and I'm not sure where we'll land.

Yeah, I've been hearing similar rumblings. It's unsettling to see the constant shuffling, especially after the previous rounds of layoffs. The focus on EVs is understandable given the market shift, but the way they're handling the transition seems to be causing a lot of anxiety among the workforce. Hopefully, any 'restructuring' is communicated transparently and doesn't involve more widespread job losses. It's a tough climate for everyone right now.
