Feeling the pressure at Ford - rumors flying

Just a general vibe check from the factory floor and some of the office areas. There's a lot of nervous energy going around. Heard whispers about headcount reviews and potential reorgs, but nothing concrete. Management is keeping tight-lipped, which, as usual, just fuels more speculation. Is anyone else hearing anything more substantial than the usual "things are changing" talk? It's hard to plan anything when you don't know what your role might be in 6 months or a year. The recent news cycles haven't exactly been reassuring, even if they're not directly about our site. Just want to know if I should be dusting off the resume or if this is just another cycle.

Yeah, that uncertainty is rough. It's tough to stay motivated when you feel like your position could be on the chopping block. Management's silence just makes it worse, doesn't it? Makes you wonder what's really going on behind closed doors. Hope it's just the usual cyclical adjustment and not something more serious.

I've definitely felt a similar tension. It's like a constant low hum of 'what if' in the background. Hard to focus on day-to-day tasks when the bigger picture feels so unstable. The lack of clear communication is the most frustrating part, leaves too much room for worst-case scenarios to creep in.
