I feel you. The constant restructuring is exhausting. We get new managers every few months who want to reinvent the wheel, and nothing ever actually improves. I've started looking for other opportunities. Loyalty doesn't seem to mean anything to them anymore. It's a shame because I used to really enjoy working here, but the culture has definitely changed for the worse. Focus on what you can control and protect yourself.
Restructuring always seems to disproportionately affect those of us doing the actual work. I remember a similar situation a few years back. They brought in consultants who shuffled everyone around, morale plummeted, and productivity tanked. Six months later, they reversed half the changes. Sounds like history is repeating itself. Maybe it's time to polish up the resume and see what else is out there. Never hurts to be prepared.
