Fox Corporation - Anyone else feeling the chill? What's the vibe?

Hey everyone, Been working at Fox Corp for a few years now, and lately, the atmosphere feels… different. There's been a lot of talk about 'synergies' and 'streamlining operations' across different departments, especially on the broadcast and cable news side. Nothing concrete has been announced, of course, but the whispers are getting louder. Managers are being cagey, and there's a general sense of unease. Anyone else picking up on this? Is it just my department, or is there a broader organizational shift happening that we aren't being told about directly? Trying to gauge if I should be updating the resume or if this is just standard corporate jargon. Curious to hear if others are seeing similar signs or have any insights into what might be brewing behind the scenes. Stay safe out there.

Definitely picking up on the same vibes. The 'streamlining' buzzwords have been making the rounds here too, and it's creating a lot of uncertainty. It's hard to focus on day-to-day tasks when there's so much speculation about what the future holds. Communication from leadership has been pretty minimal, which only seems to amplify the anxiety. Hoping we get some clarity soon, but the current environment is definitely tense.

Yeah, the 'synergy' talk is definitely noticeable, even from my end. Feels like a lot of shifting plates, and it's hard not to wonder where things are headed. Been trying to stay heads-down and deliver quality work, but the general feeling of uncertainty is pretty pervasive. Hopefully, any changes are well-communicated and ultimately beneficial, but right now, it's mostly just a lot of questions and not many answers.
