Fox Media: Anyone else feeling the pressure lately?

Is it just me, or has the atmosphere at Fox gotten a lot more tense over the past few months? I'm not talking about specific layoff rumors, but more of a general feeling. There's a lot more 'do more with less' pressure, and it feels like resources are being squeezed tighter than usual. Some of the senior folks seem a bit cagey too, which isn't helping. I'm trying to gauge if this is a company-wide sentiment or if I'm just in a particularly stressed department. We've had some re-orgs and shifts in leadership, which always creates uncertainty, but this feels like something deeper. Are performance expectations being ramped up significantly? Is anyone else seeing more scrutiny on budgets or headcount justifications? Curious to hear if others are feeling this shift and what might be driving it. Just looking for some shared experiences to see if I'm overthinking things or if there's a real trend here.

I've definitely felt a shift. It's not just your department, I don't think. There's a noticeable undercurrent of anxiety and a constant push to be more efficient without any additional support. Yeah, 'do more with less' is the motto of the hour, isn't it? It feels like we're constantly being asked to stretch resources thinner, and the goalposts seem to be moving more frequently. I've noticed a similar vibe, a general sense of increased pressure and a bit of a hush-hush attitude from management when you try to get straight answers. It's creating a lot of uncertainty, and frankly, it's impacting morale. Hoping for some clarity soon, but not holding my breath.
