Hey everyone. Been with FT for a few years now in [department]. Lately, there's been a lot of talk internally about 'strategic realignment' and 'efficiency drives.' It's making people nervous, and I haven't heard anything concrete, but the general feeling is that something's brewing. Has anyone else picked up on similar signals? Any departments feeling the squeeze more than others? Wondering if anyone has insider info or has heard anything from their managers that might shed some light on what's actually going on. It's tough to stay focused when the uncertainty is this high. Just trying to get a clearer picture of the situation before things potentially get worse. Appreciate any insights.

I'm in a different division, but we've been hearing similar buzzwords about 'optimizing resources.' It's definitely creating an unsettling atmosphere. Management's communication has been vague, which only fuels the speculation. I've seen a few colleagues start updating their LinkedIn profiles, which is usually a pretty telling sign when combined with the internal chatter. Hopefully, it's just standard end-of-year budget reviews, but it feels more substantial than that this time around.
